Timms Is South Dakota Star

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Adding a 10th ASCS Regional victory to his name, Oklahoma’s Ryan Timms grabbed the ASCS Northern Plains victory at Black Hills Speedway.

Bringing the Northern Plains Region back after going by the wayside after the 2009 season, Timms is the 27th different driver to win with the South Dakota-based series.

Taking off from 10th, Timms raced to the lead on lap 12.

Unchallenged to the end, Timms was trailed to the finish by Colorado’s Nick Haygood.

Third went to Kyler Johnson, while Kelly Miller and Travis Reber completed the top five.
