Stacked Entry List For Night Two Of 360 Knoxville Nationals

KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Night two of the 31st annual My Place Hotels 360 Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway will feature three drivers who previously won the most prestigious event in winged 360 sprint car racing.

Five-time event winner Terry McCarl headlines the field in his familiar No. 24 machine. McCarl won the 360 Nationals for the first time in 1996 and most recently in 2018.

Jeff Swindell, who topped the 360 Nationals in 2002, and multi-time Knoxville Raceway champion and 2017 360 Nationals titlist Clint Garner are also scheduled to race on Friday night.

Tyler Courtney, who won the recent 38th Kings Royal at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway, is entered in his familiar Clauson Marshall Racing No. 7bc, while longtime sprint car racer Joey Saldana will drive one of two cars entered by Ohio car owner Ed Neumeister. Harli White, who has won twice at Limaland Motorsports Park this season, handles the second Neumeister machine.

Gio Scelzi, a winner at Knoxville earlier this year, will drive the familiar No. 18 and Carson McCarl wheels his standard No. 27a entry.

Daryn Pittman, who finished third in the 2019 Knoxville Nationals, will wheel Kevin Swindell’s No. 39 on Friday night.

Other traveling sprint car drivers scheduled to compete include Californian Colby Copeland, USCS regular Connor Loeffler, Scott Bogucki, Dylan Westbrook, Ian Madsen, Greg Wilson and Matt Covington.
