Rain Trims Winter Nationals To One Day

MESQUITE, Texas — With clouds continuing to linger over the Devil’s Bowl Speedway, the lack of much-needed sun has forced track officials to call off events slated for Friday, Oct. 15 as the grounds remain impassable due to Thursday morning’s rain.

Reduced to a single night, the 48th Winter Nationals and Lanny Edwards Memorial featuring the season finale for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series is slated to begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The event includes IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, USRA Limited Modifieds and Texas Winged Modifieds.
