ASCS Stop At I-30 Squelched By Flooded Grounds

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – I-30 Speedway officials made the call Friday to cancel Saturday’s planned Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series stop at the quarter-mile clay oval.

The decision came after the facility received more than seven inches of rain since Wednesday, with not enough time to dry out the grounds and racing surface sufficiently to hold the program, as the grounds are nearly flooded.

The next event for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network is Memorial Day weekend at Lake Ozark Speedway.
