Who Won What? IMSA GTP

A new era of IMSA’s top class was ushered in as the hybrid-powered Grand Touring Prototype made their debuts this season.

Action Express Racing’s Pipo Derani and Alexander Sims endured a limitation in mistakes as the duo outlasted their counterparts by season’s end at Road Atlanta to secure the title.

The No. 31 Cadillac entry stood atop the standings by 21 points over the Acura of Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti’s Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor.

Placing third was Meyer Shank Racing’s No. 60 Acura, driven by full-time drivers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun.

The MSR team kicked off the season for the annual Rolex 24 at Daytona by topping the 24-hour race with Blomqvist, Braun, Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud.
