Indiana Midget Week 2022

With a 36-point margin over runner-up Justin Grant, Buddy Kofoid captured the 2022 USAC Indiana Midget Week title.

With a 36-point margin over runner-up Justin Grant, Buddy Kofoid captured the 2022 USAC Indiana Midget Week title.

It was his second consecutive IMW title and the seventh for car owner Keith Kunz and the Keith Kunz Motorsports with Curb-Agajanian team. There were four different winners and two rainouts during the eight-race schedule with Gas City I-69 Speedway and Circle City Raceway both losing their dates to the weather.

Kofoid‘s victories at Bloomington Speedway and Lawrenceburg Speedway made him the only repeat winner during the series.

Other feature winners were Thomas Meseraull (Tri-State Speedway), Jacob Denney (Lincoln Park Speedway) and Cannon McIntosh (Kokomo Speedway).

Highlights of the series included impressive runs by Denney, who won his first USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget Series feature, and Kaylee Bryson.

Bryson finished fourth in final points, an Indiana Midget Week best for a female driver.
