Jan Opperman

A star sprint car racer and winner of the 1971 Knoxville Nationals, Jan Opperman competed in two Indianapoils 500s. He made his debut in 1974, starting 32nd and finishing 21st. He failed to qualify in 1975, but made the field in ’76, starting 33rd and finishing 16th.
