Lucas Oil and Crandon: The Partnership Continues

CRANDON, Wis. — For decades Crandon International Raceway and Lucas Oil have represented the patriotic spirit of the American Midwest. After joining forces in 2021 to help promote short-course racing and a growing off-road lifestyle, Crandon and Lucas Oil continue sharing a powerful partnership that spans the iconic facility, its massive race events, and a collective contribution to the sport.

With June’s historic 30th anniversary Forest County Potawatomi Crandon Brush Run and July 4 holiday now in the rear-view mirror, Lucas Oil and the Lucas Oil-owned MAVTV Motorsports Network continue their special relationship with the “Big House” as part of an ever-expanding family of Crandon corporate partners.

For 2023 this partnership once again features high visibility onsite branding, lucrative purses at Lucas Oil-supported races and extensive coverage of Labor Day weekend’s 54th Polaris Crandon World Championships.

Crandon International’s iconic roadside barn, the only original building left on the former dairy farm property, will continue to be known as the “Lucas Oil VIP Barn.” The historic roadside structure features illuminated signage on the barn’s massive roof and wood-clad frontage.

The most recent addition to Crandon is the newly erected “Lucas Oil Tech Building.” Completed in August of 2022, the impressive four lane structure was built to expedite pre- and post-race vehicle inspections.

Lucas Oil is the official lubricant of the 400-acre Crandon International Raceway facility, with its products used exclusively throughout the fleet of vehicles needed to keep operations running smoothly.

“Crandon and Lucas Oil have been linked in the off-road world for decades, and we are proud to carry-on that tradition at the track and the upcoming Polaris Crandon World Championships,” shared Lucas Oil Director of Partnership Marketing Brandon Bernstein. “I visited the event last year and was so impressed with the track, its history, the racing and the crowd.

“It’s called the ‘Big House’ for a reason, and Lucas is honored to be part of it all in such a big way.”

Crandon is preparing to host the largest event in its storied history this Labor Day weekend. The 54th Polaris Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races, featuring the Red Bull Crandon World Cup, will be held August 31 – September 3. An expected crowd of 65,000 fans is expected for this year — an event record.

This year’s Polaris World Championship will also witness the return of the Crandon Rocks concert. After successfully hosting Kid Rock in 2019, Crandon Rocks 2023 will welcome an additional projected crowd of 20,000 fans on Friday, September 1 for iconic rock band KISS as part of their “End of the Road” tour.
