Crandon Sets Record Season Purse To Celebrate 55 Years

CRANDON, Wis. — For 55 years, Crandon International Raceway has been a powerful force in keeping off-road motorsports alive and well for racers and fans alike.

On Friday, the iconic Wisconsin facility’s ownership group announced that it will celebrate more than five decades of racing excellence with a record season purse of more than $300,000.

The massive season payout is a joint effort coordinated with the AMSOIL Champ Off-Road series, and encompasses the 31st annual Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run (June 21-23) and Labor Day weekend’s 55th Polaris Crandon World Championships, plus the 9th annual Red Bull Crandon World Cup Sunday (Aug. 28 – Sept. 1).

The Crandon cash and prize purse will be shared by all of Champ Off-Road’s Pro and Sportsman categories.

In addition, Crandon is working to create additional purse payouts for the Ultra4 and Class 11 categories at the Polaris Crandon World Championships. The record 2024 Crandon purse is in addition to all race and season payouts awarded by the Champ Off-Road and other series competing at Crandon.
