STAT ATTACK: Two USAC Wins In One Day For Seavey

1 — Veteran modified driver and part-time sprint car racer Danny Varin earned his first All Star Circuit of Champions victory at New York’s Utica-Rome Speedway.

2 — USAC victories (Silver Crown and midget) Logan Seavey earned in a single day on Aug. 19.

2 — Tanner Thorson became the first driver to win the Jason Leffler Memorial midget race twice, taking his second victory in the event Friday at Wayne County Speedway in Illinois.

2 — Dominic Scelzi won the Johnny Key Classic at California’s Ocean Speedway for the second consecutive season.

2 — Both RFK Racing entries of Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski are locked into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, after Keselowski clinched a spot at Watkins Glen. 

3 — Sprint car features won by Paul Nienhiser last weekend (Aug. 18-20).

5 — Top Fuel drivers are locked into the Countdown to the Championship: Justin Ashley, Steve Torrence, Antron Brown, Brittany Force and Leah Pruett.

5 — Wins for William Byron in the NASCAR Cup Series this season after winning at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) Int’l last Sunday. That’s one more victory than he had during the first five years of his career combined.

7 — Points separating Cannon McIntosh and Jade Avedisian on top of the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series standings with 11 races to go in the season. The next event is Thursday night at Iowa’s Davenport Speedway.

15 — Age of Brent Crews when he won Sunday’s ARCA Menards Series race at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.

19 — Mike Rockenfeller earned his first top-20 result in the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday at Watkins Glen Int’l Raceway after finishing 19th in the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club Chevrolet.

32 — Bubba Wallace holds a 32-point advantage over Ty Gibbs for the final NASCAR Cup Series Playoff spot with one race remaining at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway.

50 — Points separate World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series points leader Brad Sweet and Carson Macedo. Macedo jumped ahead of David Gravel for second in the standings after his win at Jackson (Minn.) Motorplex last Saturday. 

75Ron Capps earned his 75th NHRA national event victory Sunday at Brainerd (Minn.) Int’l Raceway.

99 — Robert Hight reached his 99th career final round during the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd (Minn.) Int’l Raceway on Sunday.
