Max Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing brought the pain on the Formula 1 field this season as they won their third consecutive championship.
By season’s end, Verstappen won a record 19 of the 21 F-1 races run, including all three events held in the United States (Miami Grand Prix, United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, Las Vegas Grand Prix).Â
Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez placed second in the standings with two victories in the first four races.
The only other driver to score a win was Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz. The 29-year-old dazzled in the Singapore Grand Prix as he held off late challenges from the likes of Lando Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.
