Bayley Currey Returns To JD Motorsports

GAFFNEY, S.C. – Bayley Currey is returning to JD Motorsports with Gary Keller as a full-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The 25-year-old has a combined 116 starts across NASCAR’s top three series, with a career best finish of seventh in the Call Before you Dig 200 at Arizona’s Phoenix Raceway this past March when he raced for Mike Harmon.

“I’m very excited and thankful to be back with JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in 2022,” Currey said. “Mr. Davis took a chance on me and gave me an opportunity late in the season last year. The relationship progressed and eventually turned into a full-time ride this year.

“Throughout the offseason we have been putting in a ton of work to get our fleet of cars ready to compete for 2022. Daytona can’t get here soon enough.”

Currey made seven starts for JD Motorsports to finish the year, where he finished as high as 13th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and logged two more top 20 finishes in between.

Next season will be the first time Currey is set to run a full season in NASCAR’s top three series.
