WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier has been named the polesitter for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 200 at Watkins Glen Int’l.
Allgaier secured the highest metric score during the most recent Xfinity Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway two weeks ago. Lap speed is weighted at 15 percent, previous race finish at 25 percent for the driver and owner results and owner points position at 35 percent to calculate the final metric score.

Austin Cindric, a winner of four Xfinity Series races on road courses, will start second in his Team Penske No. 22 Ford Mustang. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Daniel Hemric starts third, followed by his teammate Harrison Burton and Kaulig Racing’s Justin Haley.
Road course ace A.J. Allmendinger, Myatt Snider, Jeb Burton, Brett Moffitt and Riley Herbst make up the remainder of the top-10.Â
