Calgary native Brett Taylor will return to Ed Hakonson Racing to running full time in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
Taylor will hit the ground running with new primary sponsor, North Country Property Maintenance Inc, and returning partners TCB Trailers, Choko Authentics, and Fast Eddie Racewear.
The team has a newly built oval car for the season. Team principal Jason Hathaway worked hand in hand with builder Mike McColl at McColl Racing Enterprises to have this new car built to their exact specifications. Hathaway has years of experience and knows what works best to make sure this car would have the precise characteristics they were looking for and be a strong contender this season.
“EHR is proud to have Calgary racer Brett Taylor back for our third season together in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series,” said Hathaway. “With a full season of 13 races and a brand-new McColl Racing oval car being built, we have high expectations for success this year and can’t wait to get started”.
In addition, the team will have another partner in Guitar Works Canada.
The 13- race NASCAR Pinty’s Series opens competition May 14th at Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario.
