Wood Brothers Name Brian Wilson As Crew Chief

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Wood Brothers Racing officials announced that Brian Wilson has joined the team as crew chief for incoming rookie driver Harrison Burton.

Wilson joins Wood Brothers Racing after spending the last 18 seasons with Team Penske, where he captured the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in 2020 as crew chief for Austin Cindric.

Team Penske has a technical alliance with Wood Brothers Racing.

Burton joins Wood Brothers Racing after spending the last two season as part of the Joe Gibbs Racing Xfinity Series program. He replaces Matt DiBenedetto at the wheel of the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford Mustang.

Jonathan Hassler most recently served as crew chief for Wood Brothers Racing. He replaced Greg Erwin prior to the NASCAR All-Star Race in June at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.Â
