DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Martin Truex Jr., fresh off his fourth victory of the season last Saturday night at Richmond (Va.) Raceway, will start from the pole during Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Truex will start on the pole at Bristol based on his qualifying metric score following last Saturday’s race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway.Â

Southern 500 winner Denny Hamlin will start second Saturday night at Bristol, followed by Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson.
Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski will start sixth through 10th.
Saturday’s race is the final race in the first round of the NASCAR Cup Series. Michael McDowell, William Byron, Tyler Reddick and Alex Bowman are the four drivers currently below the cut line to advance to the next round in the playoffs.
Kurt Busch, who is tied on points with Bowman but has the tie breaker, sits 12th in series points heading into Bristol.Â
