Suspension of Kaulig Racing Cup Crew Members Upheld

The National Motorsports Appeals Panel announced Wednesday it upheld NASCAR’s four-race suspension of three Kaulig Racing crew members in the Cup Series for a wheel coming off one of its cars in the Daytona 500.

The incident occurred on the No. 31 Chevrolet driven by Justin Haley.

Crew chief Trent Owens, Jacob Nelson (front-tire changer) and Marshall McFadden (jackman) will be suspended following the appeal being denied. Kaulig Racing announced it won’t not go forward with a final appeal.
