MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Michael McDowell and Todd Gilliland will return to Front Row Motorsports for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The team has exercised its option on both drivers, keeping the two-driver lineup the same for a third season in a row.
McDowell, the 2021 Daytona 500 winner, is currently 17th in the championship standings and battling for the team’s second playoff appearance with the No. 34 team.
In his second sophomore season in the Cup Series, Gilliland has three top-10 finishes and sits 27th in the standings aboard the No. 38 Ford Mustang.
“Both Michael and Todd are like family to me,” said Bob Jenkins, Owner, Front Row Motorsports. “They have been determined to make the team better each season and they just keep fighting to do that. I’m proud of both and now we will be focused on the remainder of 2023 and prepare for 2024 to be even better.”
Zane Smith, who pilots the team’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team full-time and is the defending Truck Series champion, is currently exploring opportunities in NASCAR’s other national series, including remaining at FRM next season.
FRM will compete in the Truck Series next season. Though future plans regarding their Truck Series program will be announced at a later time, the team said in a press release.
