DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Kyle Larson, fresh off securing his place in the NASCAR Cup Series championship race at Phoenix Raceway, will start from the pole when the series rolls into Kansas Speedway this Sunday.
Larson, who has eight victories this year, secured the No. 1 starting position for the Hollywood Casino 400 based on his qualifying metric score following the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 last Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway.
Ryan Blaney will join Larson on the front row for Sunday’s race. Brad Keselowski will start third, followed by Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott.
Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr., Joey Logano, William Byron and Christopher Bell will start sixth through 10th, respectively.Â
