Sports car star Kamui Kobayashi will make his second career NASCAR Cup Series start later this month at Texas’ Circuit of The Americas.
The 37-year-old will pilot 23XI Racing’s No. 67 Toyota Camry around the 3.41-mile permanent road course on the weekend of March 21-24. In his Cup Series debut last season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course, Kobayashi finished 33rd after starting 28th.

Kobayashi scored the overall victory in the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans with Toyota Gazoo Racing and boasts two FIA World Endurance Championships. The Japanese racer owns two Rolex timepieces as well from his overall victories in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in Florida.
He’ll join 23XI Racing’s full-time drivers Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick. Notably, Reddick is the defending winner at COTA.
