Front Row & Alfredo Go Separate Ways

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — As Front Row Motorsports prepares for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team has parted ways with driver Anthony Alfredo.

Alfredo, a rookie in the series, drove the No. 38 Ford throughout the 2021 campaign.

“We would like to thank Anthony for being an outstanding ambassador of our team as well as for our No. 38 partners,” said Jerry Freeze, general manager for Front Row Motorsports. “He showed a lot speed in what was very difficult circumstances. He is a true professional and we wish him nothing but success in his future racing endeavors.”

Team officials also said they will continue to analyze the operation’s NASCAR Cup Series program.

Still, with Michael McDowell winning the Daytona 500 and qualifying for the playoffs, it was the team’s most successful season to date.

“We are very pleased with the progress that both our programs made on the track this season,” said Jerry Freeze, General Manager, Front Row Motorsports. “We feel our organization took another step in being more competitive and giving more value to our partners. We still need more consistency, but we can’t take anything away from the success and hard work from the organization this year. We’re very proud of that effort.”

FRM will continue its efforts in the NASCAR Cup Series, fielding the No. 34 and No. 38 Ford Mustangs. The team will make additional driver and sponsor announcements at the appropriate time.

“We will have a very busy next three months as we build for 2022,” added Freeze, regarding the move to the NASCAR Next Gen cars over the offseason. “Our men and women are working hard as we usher in the next generation of NASCAR. It’s an exciting time and we are embracing the challenge and excitement.”
