Byron On Pole For Coca-Cola 600

CONCORD, N.C. — After NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying were rained out on Saturday evening, starting positions for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 were assigned per NASCAR’s rule book.

Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron will start the 600-mile race from pole position in his No. 24 Chevrolet.

He will be joined on the front row by Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick.

RFK Racing’s Brad Keselowski and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin, who won the Coca-Cola 600 last year, will start from the second row. Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch and Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott make up row three.

Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. complete the top 10.
