Chase Briscoe underwent successful surgery on his broken left middle finger Monday morning, one day after the Noco 400 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
Briscoe, 28, broke his finger while competing in a dirt late model race on April 6, prior to the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.
On Monday, Briscoe’s wife Marissa posted an update on Twitter.
Chase is out of surgery and all is well, thank you everyone for the prayers. Keep them coming!

The injury hasn’t slowed the driver of the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford, as he led a career-high 109 laps at the half-mile track at Martinsville, before ultimately finishing fifth. It was his second consecutive fifth place result dating back to Bristol.
Briscoe currently sits 14th in the standings with three top 10 finishes.
