AVONDALE, Ariz. — Championship contender Corey Heim won the pole for tonight’s season-ending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Phoenix Raceway.
Driving the TRICON Toyota, Heim turned a best lap of 26.344 seconds and 136.654 mph on the one-mile oval.
Ty Majeski qualified second in a ThorSport Ford.
Nick Sanchez, Zane Smith and Chase Purdy completed the top five.
The three other Championship 4 contenders will start outside the top five, with Ben Rhodes sixth, Carson Hocevar 13th and Grant Enfinger 17th.
