Rev Racing’s Nick Sanchez set the fastest lap during NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying at Pocono Raceway with a best lap time of 53.265 seconds in his No. 2 Chevrolet.
Rookie Jake Garcia was only .209 seconds off the pace in his No. 35 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing entry, officially qualifying second.
The pair will lead the Truck Series field from the front row during Saturday’s CRC Brakleen 150.
MHR’s Grant Enfinger, Niece Motorsports’ Carson Hocevar and Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill completed the top five. Zane Smith, Rajah Caruth, Matt DiBenedetto, Corey Heim and Chase Purdy filed into the top 10.
