Nick Sanchez set the fastest lap time during NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon.
The No. 2 Rev Racing driver logged a 29.219-second lap (184.811 mph) at the 1.5-mile track.
Last week’s race winner Christian Eckes was second in his No. 19 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet. His quickest time was 29.290 (184.363 mph) around the Fort Worth facility.
Stewart Friesen and Kyle Busch will start from the second row, while Grant Enfinger and Daniel Dye will make up row three. Layne Riggs, Bayley Currey, Taylor Gray and Rajah Caruth completed the top 10.
