DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – John Hunter Nemechek will lead the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series field to the green flag Saturday at Martinsville Speedway when the series returns to action after nearly a month off.
Nemechek earned the pole for the United Rentals 200 based on his qualifying metric score from the most recent event on Oct. 2 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.
He’ll be joined on the front row by Todd Gilliland, whose Front Row Motorsports team is still in contention for the Truck Series owners’ championship. Ben Rhodes, Sheldon Creed and Matt Crafton will start third through fifth.
Chandler Smith, Stewart Friesen, Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith and Austin Hill complete the top-10 starters.Â
