DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Sheldon Creed will start from the pole when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes the green flag during Sunday’s In It To Win It 200 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.
Creed, who won the most recent NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill., earned the pole by having the highest qualifying metric score following the most recent race of those entered at Darlington.
Matt Crafton, who is in search of his first victory this year, will start second in the No. 88 ThorSport Racing Toyota.
Ben Rhodes starts third, with Stewart Friesen set to start fourth. Carson Hocevar, John Hunter Nemechek, Austin Hill, Todd Gilliland, Chandler Smith and Zane Smith will start fifth through 10th, respectively.
The In It To Win It 200 is the second race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs. Creed’s victory at World Wide Technology Raceway has locked him in to the second round of the playoffs, which begins on Sept. 24 at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway.
