Peters Out, Berry In For Rackley W.A.R. Truck Team

CENTERVILLE, Tenn. — Rackley W.A.R., co-owned by Willie Allen and Curtis Sutton, announced Tuesday that the team has reached a mutual agreement with Timothy Peters to part ways, effective immediately.

“We appreciate the foundation that Timothy Peters has brought Rackley W.A.R.,” Allen said. “We wish Timothy the best in his future racing endeavors. As a team, we remain focused on the remainder of the season.”

Josh Berry, the reigning NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National champion and a race winner this year int he NASCAR Xfinity Series, will join the team as the driver of the No. 25 Rackley Roofing Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway (June 12), Nashville Superspeedway (June 18) and at Pocono Raceway (June 26).

Peters joined Rackley W.A.R. at the beginning of the season for the team’s first year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. In 10 starts with the team, Peters has earned a best finish 16th at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway.
