LONG POND, Pa. — Christian Eckes will start Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway from the pole after qualifying was canceled due to rain. Teams got in a 20-minute practice session before a drizzle began to intensify. NASCAR set the lineup based off the rule book, handing the top starting spot to Eckes, who led all 150 laps at Nashville Superspeedway.
Corey Heim will start second with Rajah Caruth, Tyler Ankrum and Daniel Dye completing the top five. Ty Majeski, Ben Rhodes, Grant Enfinger, Nick Sanchez and Stewart Friesen round out the top 10 starters.
Layne Riggs crashed in practice and will start from the rear after going to a backup truck.
Just 36 trucks are entered, meaning none are going home.
Friday’s race is set for 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
