ARCA Issues Penalties, Suspension After Michigan

TOLEDO, Ohio – ARCA Menards Series officials have announced penalties against members of the Venturini Motorsports team following the race at Michigan Int’l Speedway on Aug. 20.

Based on violation of the ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8.1, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines including public statement and/or communication that criticizes, ridicules or otherwise disparages another person based upon that person’s race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age or handicapping condition, ARCA crew member Kevin Reed Jr. has been fined $1,500 and suspended for an indefinite period of time.

Based on non-compliant activities during and after the ARCA Menards Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 20, ARCA crew member Kevin Reed Sr. has been fined $500 and placed on probation for the remainder of the season for violation of ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8.1, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines.

Based on non-compliant activities in the garage area during the ARCA Menards Series race at Michigan Int’l Speedway on Aug. 20, driver Drew Dollar has been fined $1,000 for violation of 2021 ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines.
