ARAGON, Spain — Spanish motorcycle racer Hugo Millan was killed in a crash during Sunday’s European Talent Cup race at MotorLand Aragon. He was 14 years old.
According to a statement from the sport’s governing body, the Federation Internationale de Motorcyclisme, Millan was involved in a multi-bike incident and the race was red flagged.
Medical officials attended to Millan on the race track, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Millan ranked second in the series’ standings and had two poles and four podiums this season.
