Bagnaia Breaks Through At MotorLand Aragon

ALCANIZ, Spain – After a trio of runner-up finishes already this year, Francesco Bagnaia finally earned his first MotoGP victory Sunday at MotorLand Aragon.

The battle went right down to the wire for Bagnaia, who held off a determined charge from multi-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez by .673 seconds at the checkered flag.

Bagnaia started from the pole and spent the entire race battling with Marquez before eventually coming out on top. He is the eighth different MotoGP winner this season.

Reigning MotoGP champion Joan Mir finished third, followed by Aleix Espargaro and Jack Miller.
