Bagnaia Back To Winning Ways In Spanish Grand Prix

Despite late challenges from Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia held on to score the Spanish Grand Prix victory on Sunday.

However, it was Jorge Martin who became the story of the day. Martin, the MotoGP championship leader, was in control of the race for much of the event.

Martin led the way until a crash on lap 11 derailed his hopes of continuing his hot start.

From there, Bagnaia scampered away to win the event by 0.372 seconds over Marquez. Bagnaia is now only 17 points behind Martin for the championship lead.

Marco Bezzecchi completed the podium in third for his first of the season.

Trackhouse Racing’s Miguel Oliveira finished eighth while teammate Raul Fernandez placed 11th out of 25-rider field.
