Nichols, Bloss To Lead Beta’s Supercross Debut

Colt Nichols and Benny Bloss will spearhead Beta’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross debut during the 2024 season, riding for the Liqui Moly Beta Supercross Team.

Both riders will compete in the 450SX class, with Nichols aboard the No. 45 machine and Bloss steering the No. 67 entry. It will be Beta’s first foray into Supercross as a manufacturer.

Nichols, 29, is coming off his rookie season in the 450SX class.

Following a 14th-place finish in the standings, the Oklahoma native was named rookie of the year. His best finish was fourth at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., in April. Notably, Nichols was also the 2021 250SX East champion.

“New setup in tough,” Nichols wrote in a post on Instagram. “Thank you to these people for believing in me.”

Meanwhile, Bloss, 26, is entering the team with five years of 450SX class experience to his credit.

He was rookie of the year in 2018, finishing 15th in the points during his debut season in the premier class. The Missouri native’s best finish this past year was eighth in East Rutherford, N.J., in April.

“I’m extremely excited to announce I have signed with the Liqui Moly Beta Team for 2024 and 2025,” Bloss wrote in an Instagram post. “I am so thankful for such an amazing opportunity and I’m really looking forward to these next couple years.”
