Glory Days: Smith Is Smooth In Attica Score

The fierce battle for second in the Copenhagen-Skoal Shootout point standings between Stevie Smith and Sammy Swindell escalated on May 20, 1994 at Attica (Ohio) Raceway Park.

Smith regained the runner-up spot in the points race when he led all 25 laps. Swindell overcame his qualifying woes by passing 10 cars en route to an eighth-place run in the evening’s main event.
