INDIANAPOLIS — Due to the inclement weather, today’s on-track activity for the 107th Indianapolis 500 opening day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been canceled.
The NTT IndyCar Series and Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials called the day complete at 4:01 p.m. Eastern Time without a lap being turned on the 2.5-mile oval.
Tomorrow’s schedule has the gates opening at 10 a.m. — the same time as Install laps. R.C. Enerson will begin his Rookie Orientation Program at 10:15 a.m. and all cars practice at 12 noon. All times are Eastern Time.
