HendrickCars.com To Sponsor Brittany Force On Part-Time Basis

CONCORD, N.C. — Two of the most iconic and successful names in motorsports have united for the first time.

HendrickCars.com, the online brand for NASCAR Hall of Famer Rick Hendrick’s automotive retail enterprise, and John Force Racing have teamed up on a four-race, primary sponsorship of Brittany Force and her Chevrolet Top Fuel dragster.

HendrickCars.com will also serve as an associate sponsor on the Funny Car entries of team patriarch and owner John Force, and current NHRA points leader, Austin Prock.

The partnership begins this weekend at the 4-Wide Nationals in Charlotte and extends to the events at Virginia Motorsports Park (June 21-23), Charlotte (Sept. 20-22) and the Texas Motorplex (Oct. 10-13), the latter two being part of the NHRA’s “Countdown to the Championship.”

“I’m honored to have HendrickCars.com as a partner and be the first to bring them to the Top Fuel category in NHRA,” said Brittany Force, a two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion. ”Charlotte is home to Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrick Motorsports, so to debut the car here is pretty cool.”

This new partnership is a further extension of HendrickCars.com’s foray into drag racing, as it already sponsors five-time Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson, the winningest driver in Pro Stock history with 104 victories.

While Rick Hendrick is known for his success in NASCAR as the owner of Hendrick Motorsports — which includes a record 306 NASCAR Cup wins and 14 Cup Series championships — his motorsports roots began in drag racing.

“I love drag racing. It’s where I found a love for motorsports, going to the local dragstrip with my dad and competing in my ’31 Chevy,” said Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO, Hendrick Automotive Group. “I have been a fan of John and his family for a long time, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to partner with Brittany and Chevrolet. I know they will be terrific representatives for the HendrickCars.com brand.”

Father of Brittany, John Force is the winningest and most popular driver in NHRA history, with 16 Funny Car championships and 156 national event wins.

“It’s an honor and pleasure to work with Rick Hendrick and HendrickCars.com on this partnership,” John Force said. “I’ve known and admired Rick for a long time. He sets the standard when it comes to excellence and success in motorsports. I’m thrilled and excited for my daughter and hope our team can bring home a ‘Wally’ winner’s trophy this weekend for HendrickCars.com and John Force Racing.”
