Caruso Returning To Top Dragster For Baby Gators

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Camrie Caruso will return to the seat of a Top Dragster prior to jumping into her Right Trailers’ Chevrolet Camaro at the Gatornationals.

Caruso will be piloting Mike Scott’s carbon fiber Top Dragster in the upcoming Division 2 race at Gainesville Raceway the first weekend of March. With many years of Top Dragster experience prior to driving door cars and Pro Stock, Caruso is no stranger to the Top Dragster class.

“This is a great opportunity to get in front of the tree and get back to where I began. I’m really grateful for the opportunity.” said Caruso, a third generation drag racer. “I have been working with Mike for almost 7 years now and for him to trust me with his Top Dragster means a lot. I have wanted to get back to sportsman racing on the off weekends for a while, and now I have the chance.”

“With the obligation to debut the 1963 Corvette in Top Sportsman at the baby gators in preparation for the Gatornationals, I wanted to put a great driver behind the wheel of the Right Trailers’ Nationwide Top Dragster,” Scott said.

“Camrie was the first and only driver that I thought of, and I’m confident that she will represent our team, and our brand with her usual focus and professionalism. After what will hopefully be a very successful weekend for the Right Trailers Motorsports team at the Baby Gators, about three-fourths of our team will be competing at the Gatornationals the following weekend.”
