BYRAM, Miss. – B.J. Robinson outlasted Neil Baggett to claim his first COMP Cams Super Dirt Series feature in over three years Saturday at Jackson Motor Speedway.
Robinson led 28 of 30 laps for his second series win of his career, which earned him $3,000. His first series win came May 12, 2018, at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss.
“This car’s been really good except when I screw it up … but luckily everything stayed together and we were able to knock this one off,” Robinson said.
Billy Moyer Jr. rounded out the podium from the 14th-starting spit. Morgan Bagley and Chad Thrash completed the top five.
The win paired with Logan Martin’s struggles allowed Robinson to take a 25-point lead in the series standings. Brian Rickman, meanwhile, is third, 55 points back.
The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series wraps up the weekend Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
