Pierce DQed From Thursday’s World 100

ROSSBURG, Ohio – Eldora Speedway officials announced Thursday afternoon that Bobby Pierce has been disqualified and will not be allowed to compete in Thursday’s 51st World 100 program.

He was originally scheduled to start fifth in his heat race Thursday.

The disqualification stems from an altercation between a member of Pierce’s crew and a track worker according to Eldora Speedway General Manager Roger Slack.

The disqualification is only for Thursday’s program. Pierce will be allowed to return to compete in the 50th World 100 starting Friday.
