More Money For Brandon Overton

COCHRAN, Ga. — Brandon Overton put a bow on his amazing season of dirt late model racing with a victory in Saturday’s Gobbler 100 at Cochran Motor Speedway.

Overton took the lead from fast-qualifier Austin Kirkpatrick on the 10th lap and led the remainder of the 100-lap distance to earn the $21,000 victory.

It was Overton’s 31st late model triumph of the season and pushed his earnings to more than $900,000 for the campaign.

Only 14 entries were on hand for the unsanctioned event.

Scott Bloomquist finished third, with Pearson Lee Williams and Dalton Cook rounding out the top five.
