Marlar Earns $20,059 In Butterball Memorial

RICHMOND, Ky. – Mike Marlar earned his fourth victory in the annual running of the Butterball Wooldridge Memorial on Saturday night at Richmond Raceway.

Marlar took the lead on the third circuit from Ross Bailes, then survived multiple restarts to take the victory in the 59-lap event at the three-eighths-mile track. The event was sanctioned by the Ultimate Heart of America Series.

Marlar previously won the event in 2015, ’09 and ’04.

World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series regular Ricky Weiss finished second, with Zack Dohm taking third. Bailes faded to fourth, with Scott James coming from 13th to complete the top-five at the checkered flag.
