GAFFNEY, S.C. — Chris Madden won Sunday afternoon’s March Madness feature for the Southern All Star Series late models at Cherokee Speedway.
Madden started third and inherited the lead when race leader Chris Ferguson blew a right-rear tire with three laps remaining in the race.
Madden led the final three circuits, beating Mike Marlar to the checkered flag to earn the $10,000 payday for his 52nd-career victory with the series.
Jonathan Davenport finished third, followed by Daulton Wilson and Carson Ferguson.
