Hedgecock Secures $10,053 Tennessee Payout

SEYMOUR, Tenn. – Cory Hedgecock raced from the seventh starting spot to win Friday’s Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals main event at 411 Motor Speedway.

Following a spin by Ryan King on the first lap, the race ran green for the rest of the 53-lap distance. That was music to Hedgecock’s ears, who worked his way up to the front after starting seventh.

He chased down and passed race leader Ross Bailes on the 14th lap and led the remainder of the distance to take home the $10,053 top prize.

Randy Weaver was second, followed by Pierce McCarter, Donald McIntosh and Cody Overton.
