DUBUQUE, Iowa — Thursday Thunder rolled into the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway when the SLMR Hoker Trucking East Series came calling.Â
Tyler Bruening made a rare SLMR Hoker Trucking East Series appearance pay-off with a victory in the 30-lap late model feature.
Polesitter Andy Eckrich led the first four laps, with Bruening taking over on lap five. Eckrich came back to lead laps 12 through 15, with Bruening leading the final 15 circuits. The win was Bruening’s second SLMR victory.
Andy Eckrich held on to finish second, with a charging Spencer Diercks taking third. Jason Rauen finished fourth, just ahead of Luke Goedert.
Matt Gansen dominated the modified feature and Tony Olson won the SportMod main event.
Jimmy Doescher topped the hobby stock race.
Ray Guss Jr. won both the heat and feature in Nostalgic Stock Car Racing Club competition.
The Midwest Jalopies feature was won by Austin Honts.Â
