FAIRBURY, Ill. — Shannon Babb banked $5,000 for winning Friday night’s FALS Frenzy opener at Fairbury Speedway.
Babb raced from third to the lead on the opening lap and paced all 40 laps of the quarter-mile track to secure the MARS Racing Series late model triumph.
Ryan Unzicker finished second, with Tanner English, Dennis Erb Jr. and Ryan Gustin rounding out the top five.
Donny Walden was the fast qualifier for the 36-car field.
