Argabright Takes On Owens: ‘The Newport Nightmare’

Hall of Fame author Dave Argabright has teamed up with Jimmy Owens to tell Owens’ story of triumph and tears, penning a detailed, behind-the-scenes look at the life of a modern racer.

“The Newport Nightmare” is the autobiography of Owens and is projected to be released on January 25.

Argabright’s book covers his humble beginnings, his steady rise to the top of the racing world as well as all the challenges and difficulties that Owens has endured along the way.

Argabright is no stranger to telling the story of some of America’s greatest racing personalities. Through the years, Argabright has helped document the lives of Brad Doty, Jack Hewitt, Earl Baltes, Chris Economaki, Doug Wolfgang, Speedy Bill Smith, Rex Robbins, Larry Moore and Jimmy Sills.

“The Newport Nightmare” will continue that trend, adding Owens to Argabright’s growing list of industry figures.
