MAPLE PARK, Ill. – Garrett Alberson led the final 14 laps to take the opening night of Friday’s Harvest Hustle with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association at Sycamore Speedway.
Alberson took the $7,000 payday when he powered by Mike Spatola shortly after a lap-31 restart. It’s his second series victory of the year.
Spatola finished second and led 20 of 50 laps Saturday.
Mike Mataragas rounded out the podium. Taylor Scheffler and Mike Provenzano completed the top five.Â
Jason Feger, Tony Jackson Jr., Chad Simpson, Reno Markham and Justin Duty finished the top 10.
Polesitter Bobby Pierce failed to finish the race in 18th when an early accident ended his night.
