PORT ROYAL, Pa. – The COVID-19 crisis claimed the original Speed Showcase date at Port Royal Speedway on March 22, but the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series fueled by Sunoco will visit the track this year.
Port Royal promoter Steve O’Neal, STSS organizer Brett Deyo and Chris Zuver from the Zimmer Service Center United Late Model Series have mutually agreed to reschedule the modified and late model doubleheader for Oct. 18 at the Juniata County facility.
“Our annual stop at Port Royal has become a destination event for Modified fans in three short years,” Deyo said. “We are fortunate to have secured a new date this year so the event can go on, and we can bring two headline divisions together with the ULMS late models on the card.”
The event will offer points toward the STSS Velocita-USA South Region presented by Design for Vision and Sunglass Central.
